Folklorico Dance classes are offered all year for children ages 5-12, teens and adults. The classes are offered after school and on week-ends during the school year and during the day, evenings and week-ends during the summer.
The Dance company "CHOMARI" Ballet Folklórico Mexicano was formed as an outreach program of El Museo Latino.
As a performing dance company since 1993, "CHOMARI" performs in Omaha and surrounding communities in a variety of venues throughout the year including schools, corporations, and special events.
The repertoire in performances includes a selection of traditional folklórico dances from the States of Puebla, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Guerrero, Veracruz, and Jalisco, to name a few.
